Tales of the Waves is the first of a new series, Little Lights: a gentle journey of discovery through literature for children aged around 4-8. Read the stories with your child, using props and the included printables to enrich their enjoyment and understanding, and enjoy working through the activities together.

Activities have been carefully curated to build key areas, including sequencing, pattern awareness, retelling parts of familiar stories, creativity, motor and sensory skills.

You will need to buy two books for this resource pack: Julian is a Mermaid and The Blue Boat. The Blue Boat is also available to be watched read aloud on You Tube. The third story is an original retelling by Sarah of a Chinese folk tale.
