This is a ticket for a place at in person workshops in Penshurst, Kent
JUNE 8th and JUNE 15th 9.30-10.30
Workshops are led by Sarah, an experienced English and Drama teacher and home educating parent, supported by Lucy, an early years and play specialist with experience working with children with special educational needs.
This is a drop off session (parents are welcome to remain for a few minute to ensure their children are settled and are then invited to go and take a relaxing walk around the village or enjoy a coffee; this enables children to build relationships within the group). This session is suitable for children who have some understanding of reading and writing as we will do some early writing activities such as sentence building and shared writing. Places are limited and non-refundable.
Dates: June 8th and 15th
Each session begins with a story or poem with some discussion and drama activities. Then the children choose from activities such as:
- Oral storytelling
- Story planning and illustrating
- Art and craft
- Outdoor activities inspired by nature provocations
