Description
This wintry resource pack contains inspiration and guidance for a host of literature based activities, all on a winter theme, with three weeks of ideas and projects connected with C. S. Lewis’ The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, along with some funky poetry and a bit of festive Dickensian cheer. As well as discussion prompts and comprehension questions, you will find here creative writing prompts, grammar and vocabulary games, speaking and listening and role play fun and art, craft, science ideas and more.
Aimed at children aged roughly 8 and up, this is a flexible resource for families to enjoy at home and is probably most suited to children in KS2. Please note that you will need a copy of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, which is available online.
The content was written by Sarah, founder of The Imagination Shed and experienced teacher and home educating parent, and the beautiful front cover and border design was created by the artist and illustrator, Will Carey. Photographs inside are courtesy of Unsplash.
As a digital product, it will be emailed to you on purchase (make sure you click on the ‘Download’ button on the box which should appear). If it does not arrive within a few minutes it may be in your junk folder; if not, please email me at theimaginationshed@gmail.com.
