Lighting Up Autumn (Ages 8-13) – NEW EDITION

(1 customer review)

A seasonal, holistic resource pack with over 50 pages of autumnal activities, all inspired by literature, from poetry by a range of voices to extracts from novels and non-fiction. This is for you and your family to enjoy in whatever way you wish. The purpose of the Lighting Up Literature series is to inspire a love of literature through creative, holistic activities which deepen understanding and enjoyment. The senior edition is aimed at learners who are aged approximately 8-13 but this is flexible. Younger learners may enjoy our linked resource pack for 4-7 year olds.

If your child is not yet confidently reading or writing independently but loves to listen to more challenging literature, you could scribe for them and dictate poetry and prose. If your child is able to read and write but finds doing large amounts overwhelming, you can do shared writing, taking it in turns, or scribe for them when they need it. Confident and proficient readers and writers may enjoy the activities more fully and independently.

Please note that I cannot offer refunds on digital products, and that this resource pack is strictly for your own family’s personal use and may not be shared or sold on. If you know someone who might enjoy it themselves, please invite them to check out the website.

This is a digital download which should appear in your inbox within minutes of ordering. If it does not, please check your junk folder and email me at and I will send it over for you.

Beautifully laid out with wide variety of thoughtful activities to inspire learning 🙂

My son (10 years old) especially enjoyed the Autumn poem activity – not what I expected from him at all!

All in all very good value for money, lots of activities and worksheets that can be used as they are or tailored to suit more specific interests. Thank you for making learning fun!
