Educational Sessions

Words like classes, lessons and teachers bring to mind a school type setting, and that couldn’t be further from what we aim to achieve here at Lighting Up Literature!

Instead, our learning facilitators offer educational sessions for children of all ages in our Imagination Shed, where we focus on:

• Nature and being outdoors.
• Hands-on activities.
• Learning through action and movement.
• Following their interests and passions.
• Art and creativity.
• Building understanding of stories and language
• Developing writing skills in a gentle way

Our learning circles are currently held in the beautiful Fordcombe Village Hall.

It has:

• Great acoustics.
• A gorgeous high ceiling and plenty of natural light.
• Lots of space.
• A gorgeous peaceful field just outside, along with a playground for break time.

Sessions are held on the first and third Monday morning of each month. We are currently full but message your interest and we will pop your name on the waiting list!
